Even with the amazing treatments that are offered today there are still a huge number of people who suffer from fungus on their skin, toenails, fingernails, and scalp. You can pretty much get fungus anywhere on your body. The reason some people suffer from fungus over and over again, and other people hardly get it is because with some people the body doesn’t recognize the fungus as foreign and dangerous.


This means that the body doesn’t try fighting it off and without antibiotics/antifungal their fungus will keep reoccurring and spreading.



There are of course people that are more at risk than others for getting different types of fungus in different areas. For instance, adults are more likely to suffer from a foot fungus that children, especially children under 5 years of age, because their body doesn’t immediately see the fungus as foreign or dangerous and with some people their bodies have just learned to live with the fungus that they suffer from most often so the immune system does not bother to even try and get rid of it. However, unlike grownups, kids are more likely to have fungus growing on their scalp.


Of course it isn’t just the body’s fault that it suffers from fungus so easily. Fungus is everywhere. It is in the dirt, on the floor, and on the people around us, which makes it unavoidable. It spreads easily because it releases little spores that just sit and wait for the perfect time to grow into new fungus.


Unfortunately one of the most common places to find the spores is in your shoes, and unfortunately when you put the shoes on you get the fungus spores on your feet, and anything else, like your hands, that touch the shoes. At that point all it does is sit back and wait until it is ready to grow into full blown fungus.


Luckily for you, if you make a habit out of staying clean and places like your feet are kept dry then it is unlikely that the fungus will grow. It likes to grow in a warm moist place, and this makes it so that some places are more likely to have fungus growth, and some people are ore likely to get it as well.
