Proper technique and good feeding comes naturally for many though it has to be taught or explained to many to get it correct as it is essential for your baby to feel comfortable while feeding and it has some medical reasons too. It is called latching on. Many women wear nursing bra rather than regular bras which is also advisable in some cases.
It is important that both mother and baby should feel comfortable during feeding regardless of the time in which baby is fed.
Your back should be upright and straight while in sitting position feeding. You can also feed your baby mobile doing your work and thus you can finish off your work even if you are breast feeding. Feeding while lying down is good for feeding at night also those who had caesarean section.
