Super stores are filled with the drinks, sodas juices, ice creams, jams and cookies made with artificial sweetener. But does this diet food really assist us in loosing weight?</p>

If someone who want to lose weight, do not exercise more, reduce the portion size and eat less, then the artificial sweetener can not work as a magical bullet to lose weight.</p>
<p>The fact is these substitutes give you the false security of eating more without putting up more calories. Some of the facts of using these sugar substitutes are given below</p>
<p>*· The consumption of sugar substitutes keeps the taste of sugar alive in the body. Some of the research conducted on this says that this live symptoms cause a person to crave sweets and sugars.</p>
<p>*· Those who take a lot of artificial sweeteners tend to ignore the natural and fiber rich food. As they always favor processed food. Instead of freshly squeezed orange juice they prefer diet soda. Or instead of an apple in the morning they prefer a frosted donut.</p>
<p>*· Sugar free product does not mean low in calorie. This is very easy to eat too much calories by eating a sugar free cookie which will result in weight gain.</p>
<p>*· Sugar free does not mean healthy. All those processed sugar free foods do not have any nutritional value.</p>
<p>*· They consume extra calories. When somebody drinks diet soda the body gets ready to consume the extra calories though they are not coming in the bodyâ€™s expected amount. The result is that hunger is even more triggered.</p>
<p>What to do then? The question I know in your mind. You just have to take a closer look at your diet plan.</p>
<p>*· Does your plan include more vegetables and fruits?</p>
<p>*· Are you trying to lose weight only by taking sugar free products?</p>
<p>*· Are you constantly craving sugary things?</p>
<p>*· While buying does you only keep into account sugar free, and put a deaf ear on calories?</p>
<p>If the answer of the most of the above question is â€œyesâ€ then Beware! As the sugar substitutes are actually hindering your path of losing weight. Nothing can better substitute the sensible eating and regular exercise.</p>

<p>More frequent eating may help to â€¢ Lower your blood cholesterol â€¢ Control your moods â€¢ Keep your blood sugar steady â€¢ Give you more control over your appetite Grazing works for low-calorie dieters as long as you arenâ€™t random. You still need a low-calorie plan, and you need to stick to your calorie limit if youâ€™re serious about losing weight. The only difference between grazing and eating three square meals a day is that youâ€™re breaking the same number of calories up into smaller meals to be eaten more often. For many people, however, snacking or grazing is detrimental to their diet.</p>
<p>If youâ€™re the type of person who isnâ€™t satisfied with small portions of your favorite foods or for whom a few bites of food easily leads to a binge, then you probably need to avoid frequent snacking, at least for now. You may even have to forego all snacks and desserts until you feel in better control of your eating habits. If thatâ€™s the case, take your snack and dessert calories (and the foods that provide those calories) and add them to your regular meals. For instance, rather than having a baked apple at 3 p.m. to hold you over until dinner, add it to your breakfast menu or have it with dinner, rather than later in the evening. All the low-calorie snacks and desserts in the world canâ€™t help you lose weight if you overdo it.</p>
<p>You have to be able to stop eating when youâ€™ve used up your calorie allotment. Your body plays a funny trick on you when you eat too much, too often. If you start feeding yourself six or eight times a day, youâ€™ll start to feel hungry at those same times every day. Thatâ€™s okay if youâ€™re simply dividing an appropriate number of daily calories into that many small meals and snacks.</p>
<p>But if you feed that hunger with excess food, then snacking becomes just another bad habit that can lead to weight gain. A sweeter way to balance a snack and add some fun is to treat yourself to a chocolate drop or mini-chocolate bar, served with a couple of fresh strawberries and a half cup of skim milk. This snack is loaded with vitamin C and calcium, and provides other nutrients along with a chocolate bonus. Just remember: Donâ€™t get carried away. Only one piece of chocolate! Other wise instead of loosing weight, you will gain weight.</p>

Fasting weight loss can be a good strategy to weight loss, but there are certain limitations we should follow before engaging into it. America has now an immense weight problem primarily because of the foods they eat. They are so fond of eating foods that are greasy like pizza, hamburger and those that can be easily bought in fast foods.</p>
<p>Chocolates and sweets are also some of their favorite snack foods. These foods have many calories that are prone to weight gain. Because they are now selling it for cheaper prices, that is why even poor people in America is now going fat. They are highly advice to cut their usual eating habits and meals. But before they do fasting, let us one by one check the rules in fasting and the proper fasting weight loss.</p>
<p>1. Fast in those foods that are high in calories and carbohydrates such as greasy foods and foods that are rich in sugar and dairy products.</p>
<p>2. Do not fast for more than one day. Your body is used to eating foods, and if you suddenly stop feeding yourself for one day. Tendencies are you might get sick and collapse, since foods give you the energy you need for the day.</p>
<p>3. Do fasting weight loss, little by little. Prior to tip no. 2, try fasting moderately. Important planning is needed for fasting to be right and safe. Fast maybe for dinner. Still eat something especially healthy ones like fruits and vegetables but with small servings. Or you can try eating half of your usual everyday serving.</p>
<p>4. Always drink water. Water is very essential for one&#8217;s health. No matter how much food you fast, don&#8217;t ever try fasting for water. Anyways, water can not affect any weight gain. Decrease your soft drinks intake because this can also lead to weight gain. Fasting Weight Loss is an acceptable way for losing weight especially to the Americans who are currently facing high rate of obesity. But you have to know the limitations of fasting. For safer fasting weight loss, always ask your doctor or an expert dietician for advises before engaging to any kind of fasting.</p>

Some people eat more when they exercise because they mistake their body’s need for more water as one for food, and if you avoid this mistake you won’t have that problem. To do this all you need to do is stay hydrated. Drink water before, during and after meals. <p>There are a number of ways for weight loss drugs to work. They can block your body from absorbing fats, they can increase brain chemicals to reduce hunger, and they can stimulate your nervous system to increase your heart rate and blood pressure which then decreases your hunger.</p>
<p>One weight loss drug that allows your body to block the absorption of some fats is called Xenical. Xenical works by interfering with lipase function. Lipase is what your body uses to break down the dietary fats that you consume so that it can be absorbed. Using this drug can decrease your body’s fat absorption by as much as 30% or more, depending on your body type.</p>
<p>Next comes weight loss drugs that use brain chemistry. One drug that does this to help you lose weight is called Meridia or sibutramine. The reason it enhances some of your brain’s chemistry is that this can keep you from getting so hungry so often. Logically, if you aren’t as hungry then you will eat less, decreasing your calorie intake, and possibly allowing you to lose weight because you now eat fewer calories then you body burns. You need to watch your blood pressure and heart rate closely while on this drug, and let make sure you doctor knows if there is a dramatic increase.</p>
<p>Next up are drugs that affect your nervous system. The point behind this drug is to increase you heart rate and blood pressure, so you need to make sure that it is absolutely safe for you. If you or your family has a history of heart problems you do not want these.
