Honey is one of the nature’s incredulity. Honey is a sweet and viscous fluid produced by bees and other insects from the nectar of flowers. “The definition of honey stipulates a pure product that does not allow for the addition of any other substance. This includes, but is not limited to, water or other sweeteners,” according to the United States National Honey Board 2003 and other nations’ food regulations. It is a good source of quick energy for the human body.

Honey is considerably sweeter than table sugar and has desirable chemical properties for baking. It has a unique flavor which leads some people to prefer it over sugar and other sweeteners. Honey and weight loss are often linked. Refined dietary sugars lack minerals and vitamins. They are often called empty calories as they extract the body’s nutrients to be metabolized into the system.

When these nutrients are depleted, metabolizing of cholesterol and fatty acid is hampered, contributing to higher cholesterol and promoting obesity due to higher fatty acid on the organs and tissues. On the other hand, honey is a natural sweetener. It contains 22 amino acids and a variety of minerals essential for its metabolism. Due to this advantage it is helpful in preventing obesity.

Drinking lemon juice with a little honey the first thing in the morning is an efficient anti cellulite treatment. It helps to increase the body metabolism. You can try this honey and lemon diet tip to lose weight and speed up your metabolism. You can also opt for another drink associated with honey and weight loss. This drink uses honey and cinnamon as ingredients. It is a very popular home remedy that is effective in losing pounds. You can make this drink by dissolving half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a cup of boiling water.

Keep stirring the mixture and cover for it for half an hour. Filter this mixture and add a teaspoon of honey. Take it in the morning with an empty stomach about half an hour before breakfast. Honey can be taken for better digestion as it is a simple carbohydrate that contains easily digested sugars.

Take a spoonful or two of honey at night, either as a warm drink or straight from the jar. This helps us to sleep and lose weight at the same time by stimulating the liver, speeding up fat-burning metabolism and reducing stress hormones. In this way this sweet medicine will surely help you to lose weight without any side effects.
